چکیده

The Siberian Crane (Grus leucogeranus) is the third rarest and most endangered crane species in world. This study aimed at predicting effect of climate change on habitat suitability breeding range wintering Asia Wetlands by using ensemble modeling under future scenarios before year 2050. In this regard, we used 4 methods, Surface Range Envelop (SRE), Random Forest (RF), Classification Tree Analysis (CTA) Flexible Discriminant (FDA) to determine relationships between occurrence bioclimatic variables framework Biomod2 R software. results showed that AUC values were greater than 0.9 functioning all models was excellent. Temperature Seasonality Annual Mean Coldest Quarter had important role for respectively 105.64% 136.27% changes justified suitability. Under RCP2.6 RCP8.5 scenario range, it possible will cause a 100% loss suitable West Sibera, 25.28% Iran China can be planning conservation species.

Diet Shift and Its Impact on Foraging Behavior of Siberian Crane (Grus Leucogeranus) in Poyang Lake

The study of habitat selection and diet has a long history in ecology. This is often used to assess the functional roles of wetland in biodiversity conservation. Shifting habitat and diet may be one of the survival strategies during extremely adverse conditions. Therefore, sudden changes in habitat selection may indicate the deterioration of the habitat quality, and management interventions are...

Hydrological Modelling for Siberian Crane Grus Leucogeranus Stopover Sites in Northeast China

Habitat loss is one of the key factors underlying the decline of many waterbird species, including Siberian Crane (Grus leucogeranus), a threatened species worldwide. Wetlands are the primary stopover for many waterbirds and restoration of these wetlands involves both hydrological restoration and water resource management. To protect the stopover sites of Siberian Cranes, we collected Siberian ...

Population sizes and group characteristics of Siberian Crane (Leuco-geranus leucogeranus) and Hooded Crane (Grus monacha) in Poyang Lake Wetland.

Both the Siberian Crane (Leucogeranus leucogeranus) and Hooded Crane (Grus monacha) have limited population sizes and are considered endangered by domestic Chinese and international agencies. To document the current size of their respective populations and characterize their groups, between October 2012 and April 2013 we undertook fieldwork at four nature reserve areas within the Poyang Lake we...
